Hello honeybees! I’m back with one of my favorite bookish memes that highlights upcoming releases!
This weekly meme originated at Breaking the Spine, but has since been linked up with Can’t Wait Wednesday from Wishful Endings.
I’m going to warn you right here that my paranormal loving, Twihard heart is bursting with the news of this book so prepare for that.
Crave by Tracy Wolff
Release Date: April 7, 2020 by Entagled: Teen
Blurb from Goodreads:
My whole world changed when I stepped inside the academy. Nothing is right about this place or the other students in it. Here I am, a mere mortal among gods…or monsters. I still can’t decide which of these warring factions I belong to, if I belong at all. I only know the one thing that unites them is their hatred of me. Then there’s Jaxon Vega. A vampire with deadly secrets who hasn’t felt anything for a hundred years. But there’s something about him that calls to me, something broken in him that somehow fits with what’s broken in me. Which could spell death for us all. Because Jaxon walled himself off for a reason. And now someone wants to wake a sleeping monster, and I’m wondering if I was brought here intentionally—as bait.
Why I Want To Read It
Do I even need to explain??? I suppose I will. Hi, my name is Destiny. I’m trash for all things paranormal romance and it’s kind of a problem. (Feed my addiction and drop some paranormal recs in the comments—I will love you forever.)
Back to the book, I added it to my TBR after seeing the cover reveal on Instagram. It looks like Twilight! I need it now! The synopsis just came out not too long ago and I’m living. It takes place in an academy? With vampires and a forbidden love troupe? Tracy Wolff is an author after my own heart, truly.
This synopsis is so mysterious and catching. I did not expect such intricacy from the plot so quickly but I’m excited for something with depth and intrigue. I’m getting Divergent/Twilight vibes from the synopsis and I’m hoping this makes my 2010s dreams come true in the 2020s. Ahh, I’m excited! Some early reviews have come in that have only made my excitement grow. This is definitely one of my most anticipated releases of the year.
Is this on your radar too? Will you be adding it to your TBR? Do you enjoy paranormal romance too?
Do you have any paranormal romance recommendations I can read while I’m waiting for this beauty to release? I’m desperate.
